Mr. Ravi Vira Gupta, Chairman, Delhi Public School - Gautam Buddh Nagar

Mr. Ravi Vira Gupta served as an IAS officer and joined the Indian Administrative Services in 1962. He served in key positions at various levels in the Government of Madhya Pradesh and the Government of India and also served as the Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India for three years. Actively associated with institutions promoting education and culture, Mr. Gupta has been the key member of many educational committees over the years. As the Chairman of DPS, GBN he has steered DPS, GBN on the path of growth and success.

Mr. Arvind Varma began his illustrious career in 1963 as an officer of the Indian Administrative Service and superannuated on Oct 31, 2000. His career path saw him hold offices as Collector & District Magistrate, Divisional Commissioner and Secretary/Principal Secretary to the Uttar Pradesh in various departments. He also served as Joint Secretary in Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Special Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs and Secretary in the Ministries/Departments of Coal, Personnel, Mines and Chemicals & Petrochemicals. After superannuation, he had served as the Chairman of various Committees and Task Forces set up by the Government of India. Over the past few years he has been associated with the non-alcoholic beverage industry.

Mr. Vineet Nayyar, Pro Vice – Chairperson, Delhi Public School -Gautam Buddh Nagar

Mr. Vineet Nayyar is the Former Executive Vice Chairman of Tech Mahindra.’ An accomplished leader, Mr. Nayyar has led several organizations across industries creating high performing teams and successful businesses. He has a rich and varied experience having worked with the government, International Multilateral Agencies and the Corporate Sector both Public and Private that spans over 50 years. Mr. Nayyar holds a Master’s degree in Development Economics from Williams College , Massachusetts and started his career with the Indian Administrative Service in 1961.While in the Government , he held series of senior positions including that of a District Magistrate, Secretary, Agriculture & Rural Development, Government of Haryana and Director Department of Economic Affairs, Government of India. Mr. Nayyar worked with The World Bank for over 10 years in a series of senior assignments , including successively being the chief for the Energy , Infrastructure and the Finance Divisions for East Asia and Pacific. . He was awarded the Ernst and Young ‘Entrepreneur of the Year [Manager]’ for the Year 2013. He was also featured as one of the Top 20 Best Indian CEOs awarded by Business Today in 2015.

Mr. S. K. Misra : Member,School Managing Committee,Delhi Public School - Gautam Buddh Nagar

Mr. SK Misra has served as an IAS officer and his distinguished career as an administrator began in 1968. He has held key administrative positions over the past 4 decades in the States of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and the Government of India. He has held the offices of Joint Secretary, Ministry of Defence, Cabinet Secretariat and Additional Secretary, Ministry of Defence. He has served as the Chief Secretary to Government of Chhattisgarh, the Chairman, State Electricity Regulatory Commission and the Advisor to the State Finance Commission. Presently he is the Chairman of Tehsil and Block Reorganization Commission of the Chhattisgarh. He is a Queen Elizabeth Fellow in Oxford University, UK (1989-90).

Mrs. Reva Nayyar: Member,School Managing Committee,Delhi Public School -Gautam Buddh Nagar

Mrs. Reva Nayyar is Member of the School Managing Committee and an IAS officer of 1968 batch from Haryana cadre. For more than three decades she has been closely engaged in Public administration and Human resource management at the center and state government levels. During her stint in 2004-06, as the secretary to the Government of India- Ministry of Woman & Child Development she was instrumental in the implementation of women-children centric legislations like the Domestic Violence Act 2005, Commission for protection of Child Rights Act 2005 and the National Plan of Action for Children 2005. She is presently on the boards of a number of key organizations. She is also chairperson of Bal Sahyog, appointed in November 2010 by Prime Minister of India Dr. Man Mohan Singh.

Dr Sudipta Ghose, M.Sc. (Physics), M.Ed., Ph.D. is Associate Professor in the Department of Education, SPM College (Delhi University). She has been Visiting Professor in the Department of Education in Utica College, Utica, New York State, USA. She also has a Masters in International Protection of Human Rights from Utica College. Her specializations lie in the areas of Science Education; Cognition and Learning; Gender; Human Rights; and Special Education. She has presented papers in conferences held in London, Nicosia (Cyprus), Thessaloniki (Greece) and at various places in India. She has worked as Consultant on various Government sponsored projects related to education. She has also delivered talks and conducted workshops for various schools in India. She has publications in National and International journals.

Indira Kohli is a renowned educationist and institution builder with 30 years of experience in school management, curriculum development and teaching. Her expertise lies in developing curriculum to accommodate different learning styles & maximizing students’ comprehension skills. She has been recognized for her proficiency in developing all aspects of a ‘start up school’ including facilities, infrastructure, staffing, welfare, discipline, policy, regulatory development and implementation. She is the Director of Delhi Public School, Gautam Buddh Nagar. Prior to taking over as the Director, she served as the Founder Principal of the school.
