Considered to be the foundation stone for the holistic development of each child, DPS, GBN has always given paramount importance to sports and games in a student’s life.

Keeping up with this tradition and to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey legend, Major Dhyan Chand, National Sports Day was commemorated by the Primary Wing on 29th August, 2021.

On this day, DPS, GBN conducted various competitions based on the theme, ‘Sports Don’t Build Character, They Reveal It.’

Our young and exuberant orators of Class IV expressed their views on importance of games and sports through the competition, ‘Sport I like the Most’, while enthusiastic artists of Class V showcased their astounding talent by creating posters during the competition, ‘Canvas is Calling’.

Eloquent speakers of Class VI expressed their views about the importance of sports during a debate, ‘Speaking Minds’.

This entire initiative turned out to be successful and informative as our young prodigies showcased commendable zeal and zest.
