Visit to World Book Fair by Grade XI Students

DPS, GBN students of Grade XI had the opportunity to visit the World Book Fair on January 13, 2026, during school hours. The students departed from the school at 10:30 a.m. and arrived at Pragati Maidan around 11:30 a.m.

Upon arrival, students proceeded to Hall No. 5, where they explored various stalls featuring books of diverse interests. The collection included titles on mythology, science, languages, biographies, war stories, puzzles, and children’s activity books, authored by writers from across the globe.

A major highlight of the visit was the Theme Pavilion, “A Lesson in Valour,” which focused on 75 years of Indian Military History. The immersive display included life-sized replicas of the Arjun Tank, INS Vikrant, and LCA Tejas, as well as a curated collection of over 500 books on defence and military strategy.

The visit successfully promoted an interest in reading and enhanced students’ awareness of Indian Military History. Students also had the opportunity to attend various authors’ talk shows conducted in Hall No. 5, making the excursion both informative and inspiring.
