INDO FRENCH STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM CONDUCTED SUCCESSFULLY AT DPS, GBN

A foreign language is considered as the key to growth and understanding the globally diverse world. DPS, GBN students study foreign languages to gain a better understanding of varied cultures and unfamiliar customs of the world.

Cultural Exchange Programs not only propel students to understand the diversity of the country, but also make them learn how to co-exist and feel compassion for different communities around.

10 students and 1 mentor from Delhi Public School, Gautam Buddh Nagar visited Lycée Émilie du Châtelet, Serris, France during the Student Exchange Program from  March 29- April 11, 2025.  It was a unique opportunity for them to observe French culture closely as these ten students were placed with French host families.

The students got an opportunity to immerse themselves into the French way of life – bonding with the host families, savouring the delicacies, participating in various cultural activities and visiting all the wonders that Paris and Brussels had to offer.

The students were captivated by the beauty and charm of iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedrale, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre Musum, Champs Élysées  in Paris and historical Atomium and Grand Place in Brussels, Belgium.

They also spent family time with their hosts thereby living the culture by interacting, having meals together and enjoying time together.

The Exchange Program marked the beginning of a long-lasting friendship across continents.

This carefully planned programme is an amalgamation of an educational experience with fun and entertainment. Long lasting friendships are formed between the student partners each year, giving a fresh impetus to the school’s endeavour to expand its exchange base and give the students’ an opportunity to explore new parts of the world.
