The students of DPS-GBN celebrated ‘The World Earth Day’ on April 22, 2026 by conducting various activities to promote green energy, reduce waste and conserve biodiversity. Students of Grade 4 presented an inspiring Assembly. Children stepped out of the classroom for a refreshing Nature walk, they collectively created the Pledge Wall by writing eco-friendly practices. Children actively participated in the Trash Audit Challenge by sorting waste into biodegradable, non- biodegradable and medical waste. This activity helped them to understand proper waste segregation and encouraged responsible habits for sustainable future. Children expressed their thoughts and feelings by writing heartfelt letters to the Earth and henceforth promised to protect the environment. In addition, a Plantation drive and a Nukkad Natak were also conducted to spread awareness. With enthusiasm and commitment, students took a pledge to make eco- friendly choices and play their part in protecting our planet.
